THE INFLUENCE OF INDEPENDENCE AND MOTIVATION TO LEARN THROUGH PBL ON STUDENTS' PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES

The purpose of this research is to find out how the influence student independence and learning motivation on problem-solving abilities Padang State University students in Space Geometry Courses through Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. method used a survey with correlation regression analysis. population study was UNP students, sample 23 purposive sampling techniques. Data obtained questionnaires. In contrast, data capabilities are tests. results analysis found that ability shown by coefficient 0.642 determination R2 37.8%, line equation Y = 42.271 + 0.334 X1 0.404 X2. testing confident significant. This proves there an together students' abilities.
